Soft Launch
If you are reading this, you are either an earlier contributor or digging through a posting history which I can only presume is both lengthy and stunning.
Right now, the dream is clear but the machinations are fuzzy. As a stepping stone, the site will go “public” while we build some content and then open with a bigger splash when we feel like ducks are steadily (or somewhat steadily) in a row.
As we take a pause from the remote learning boom of 2020 (dance club sound!), I am going to post a couple of recorded lessons that I made for students. Alongside, I’ll be hunting for adults with visual impairments to give a little insight into their school experiences, short reflections from support professionals, and maybe a recording of how I got into the field.
So gimmie what you got! Now’s the time to experiment with what we want content to look like and I don’t want it to be all Mary all the time — I’ve got a dog to walk and naps to take, let me be multifaceted here. Send me what shakes your salt, flays your shrimp, woogies your boogie……and such.
